How each piece is made
Each piece starts with lumber selection, layout, and milling. Boards are cut, shaped, joined when needed, then sanded through several grits before finish. I use food-safe oil and wax for serving boards and durable low-sheen finishes for furniture and shelves. Small grain and tone variations are part of real wood.
