Production quality is excellent — no complaints there. My honest issue is I expected a more refined, polished look like a Coach or Bellroy wallet, and this is more rustic and rugged. The leather has visible grain variation and one small natural mark on the back. Taylor mentioned this is intentional ('using the strongest grain near the spine') and I get it now after reading the materials page more carefully. Adjusting my expectations on the next one.

Ordered the antique brass hardware option and 'D.T.' monogram. Made-to-order ran 9 business days exactly as advertised. The leather smells like a horse barn in the best way — that earthy veg-tan smell that disappears after a couple weeks. Saddle stitching is so even it almost looks machined, except the slight angle gives it away.

Quality is genuinely excellent — stitching, edges, hardware, all top shelf. My one note: I'm used to a slightly larger bifold (more like 4.5" wide). This one is a touch slimmer than my old wallet, so I had to thin out my card stack a little. That's on me for not measuring first. If you carry a lot of plastic, look at the dimensions before ordering.
